Make it Your Own

One of the great things about vinyl is that it is quick and easy to create great projects. . . but, sometimes, you want to take it one step further, and make it into something that is truly your own.

Here are some great ideas on how to do just that, using pictures and our new vinyl expressions.

Pictures are a really beautiful way to personalize your project, while keeping your project relatively simple & easy.

For this sample, we simply applied the vinyl to the board, and then, using Quick Grip, we glued these great laughing pictures of Jackson & Thomas onto the board. Super easy & super cute, right?

For this sample, the talented Miss Julie applied the vinyl to a piece of cardstock, applied the cardstock to a canvas, and then surrounded it with pictures of her beautiful family, and added an adorable felt heart to it. This is a simple way to make a piece of art that you & your family will want to cherish for years.

Sassy Marble Magnets

We've created some sassy and fun new vinyl expressions for marble magnets.

There are basically two "lines" of marble magnets.

There is a fun new set of magnets to celebrate YOU and all that is great about life... these expressions are adorned with an adorable scalloped border.

These include the expressions "Life is good", "Queen of the Kitchen","Shopping List" and "It's good to be me"... so sweet!

There is also a fun new set to celebrate how great our kids are. 

These include the sayings "Star Student","Smarty Pants", "Look What I did" and "You Rock".

Marble magnets are such a great project... fun to customize and easy to make! These expressions would be perfect for a rainy (or snowy) afternoon with the kids or a girl's night in.

...New Vinyl Expressions!

I know, I know... It's been a while. But, in our defense, we've spent the past couple of months creating awesome new vinyl expressions for you!

In the next few days we will be adding more new expressions to our blog so you can see what we've been up to.

For now, check out these two new expressions. These two adorable projects combine vinyl, hooks, and a board for an easy and incredibly adorable home decor item!

Easy enough for a 5 year old!

Interested in vinyl...but not yet sure? Check out this sweet little video that shows you just how easy it is to apply vinyl! It adheres to nearly any surface AND is easy to remove! Looks like handpainted lettering without all the work...come and take a peek!

what fun halloween treats!

 

grab a little clear pail, add a fun halloween vinyl...and of course, some fun candy! enjoy!

Did you know...

...that vinyl also works GREAT as a mask!?

To recreate, our "home decor diva" (aka Kim) suggests the following easy steps:
1. Paint 4x4 canvas pieces with Buttercup paint by Making  Memories. Let dry thoroughly.
2. Place vinyl on pieces (follow basic vinyl directions).
3. Paint over vinyl using the assorted "fall" paint colors.
4. Peel up vinyl to reveal "buttercup colored" leaves.
5. Adhere small canvas pieces to 12x12 canvas using our trusty Quickgrip adhesive. Enjoy!
